does anyone remember that post about how to “avoid garnering a gross fandom for your work” and all the advice was like “don’t write anything darker than nintendo” and “avoid making characters that have family relationships”
i hallucinate this post twice a day
by these standards the ideal piece of fiction is one that is aimed at extremely young children (”emphasize wholesomeness, health, and good relationships despite differences”) but with morally grey characters, no family relationships, and no children
